When my children gave me my first ever iPod this past Christmas, this was the first song I downloaded...guess that means I have good taste! It's always been one of my all time favorites. I'm bummed I can't download it from iTunes to my new Blackberry, though. You'll have to help me out with that, I think!

I couldn't wait to get out of Somerville High School and into anyone's car to turn on the radio...and you know what was playing. Whiter Shade of Pale. It was a bit over-played and I couldn't stand the sound of it after a while...but then I had tickets to see the Beatles at Shea Stadium in 1967, for the second time! Procol Harem "pales" in comparison!
